I know that’s a cheesy headline, but hey… OK! Business Week recently had the iPod Touch in their hands, so they could give it a glorious review. Well… it didn’t exactly happen that way. They didn’t really give a very favorable review.

Here’s why. Business Week and many other reviewed keep comparing the iPod Touch to the iPhone. Of course that is going to make the iPod Touch look handicapped! However, if you compared the iPod Touch to the iPods, you’d be amazed of the features.

Some of the complaints were that the iPod Touch does not have the e-mail application, a microphone, a camera, and a bluetooth connection. It doesn’t even have stock quotes, weather forecasts, and other widgets. That’s quite a list, and I do agree with them and ponder why Apple didn’t add more.

It can be argued that Apple wants to keep the iPod Touch focused on playing music and videos. It can be too distracting for folks to use it if it has too many applications that have nothing to do with music and videos. The true test will come during the holidays to see whether the iPod Touch sells like hotcakes. I think it will.

AFP is fairly new and you have to do some manual installation. It shoudln’t be too hard for the savvy, but is still a little too much for the average user. The great benefit is that you can easily drag and drop applications and backup as well. This is extremely handy!

It looks quite amazing. It’s like having a Nintendo Gameboy trapped in your iPhone some how. The software is based on gpSphone which is a Gameboy Advanced emulator.

Some things you have to keep in mind is that you have to run it from the slash applications folder. You also need to have your own BIOS. You also need to find your own games, which shouldn’t be too hard.

Anyway, it’s pretty amazing.

You probably have seen experiments where an experimentor is able to run a light bulb using some kind of vegetable or fruit. Well these guys managed to charge an iPod with an onion!

A stinking onion! No pun intended. The onion hacking was done by Household Hacker. They also warn that this should only be done by an expert. An expert? It takes an expert to handle an onion?

Then again. Everyone who uses Apple products probably thinks they are an expert. Hey… I do.

Apple is known for its commericals. They did it again with it’s newest one. The unique thing about this new one is that they bought the commerical from a a boy in the United Kingdom. His name is Nick Haley and is only 18 years. He made a commerical for the iPhone that happened to have the word Touch in it, so the Apple advertising group thought it was perfect.

It had already been viral on the internet so there was a lot of proof that this commerical was going to be a hit. They even flew Nick to California to help them with the commercial. The commerical is strikingly similar to the original. They just polished it to make it more professional.

The song has become an instant hit with Americans thanks to the commercial. They are actually a popular band called CSS in Brazil. The song is called Music Is My Hot, Hot Sex. Be sure to check it out in itunes!
